Athlete of the Week
October 23 - October 29

Football - Cole Hodges

Cole Hodges, #82, is the football team Athlete of the Week. The senior captain and three year starter has been a leader on the team both vocally and by example. His strong work ethic and team approach has paid off this season, as he leads the team in receptions. Cole had big touchdown catches in both the Unadilla Valley and Sauquoit Valley contests to help lead the team to wins in those games. On defense Hodges has logged 24 tackles over the last three contests and picked off two passes as well. Cole has been a big contributor on a defense that has only allowed an average of 9.4 points per game this season. His unselfish play and strong character epitomize what it means to be a good teammate and great player.

Girls Soccer - Emma Karaman

Emma Karaman is the girls soccer Athlete of the Week. Starting the year as a forward Emma was able to score 6 goals and tally 1 assist. Due to changes in our line-up, Emma has been asked to assume many different roles. We are able to use Emma in this way because she has solid foot skills and the ability to see the field in a way that every soccer coach hopes their athletes can. Next year as a senior, we will count on Emma to bring her leadership, experience and skill back to the midfield. Congrats, Emma!

Cheerleading - Chelsia Beaudoin

Chelsia Beaudoin is the varsity cheerleading Athlete of the Week. As one of our captains, Chelsia always brings her positive enthusiasm to her squad. She is a team player, always prepared, with perfect attendance. Chelsia has great pride and spirit for her school and is very patient in helping her teammates with new cheers and stunts. She always works hard at every practice and is definitely a motivator for her squad. Chelsia has been a part of the S-E football cheerleading squad for three years and is a senior this year. Good luck in everything you do and we will miss you. Great Job Chelsia!
