Girls Swimming - Kristina Reynolds
Kristina Reynolds is the girls varsity swim team's Athlete of the Week. Kristina has captured the highest amount of swim meet points this year and the past three years. She has already qualified in 6 different events for the upcoming Sectional Championship meet. Earning qualifying standards in the 100 Butterfly, 200 Individual Medley, and 100 Backstroke and three relays. She is the team's leader and captain who continually challenges and encourages her teammates to have a positive attitude and to believe in themselves. Her dedication to helping others is astounding as she works hard on motivating others, staying positive and accepting the challenges of driving to another pool every night of the week. Her optimistic disposition and leadership qualities mark her as a true leader
especially as a mentor to the younger swimmers. Her younger teammates idolize her and respect her talents, informative instruction, and technical tips to improve their swimming. With tough competition and demanding practices, she rose to the top this past week and demolished her own school record in the 100M Butterfly. She swam an incredible 1:09.36 crushing her old record by 2.5 secs. She's an outstanding role model and superb student-athlete. Congratulations as a 3-time Athlete of the Week selectee.

Football - John Keller
Two way lineman John Keller has been selected as the football team's Athlete of the Week. Through the first three games of the season John has been a key part of the Marauder's success up front. As an offensive center, Keller has shown senior leadership and team work in helping pave the way for 706 yards rushing and 5.0 yards per carry average in the first three games of the season. On defense he has registered 11 tackles and been constantly in position to help a unit that has only allowed an average of 11.6 points per game through the first three contests. Linemen are often the unheralded foundation to the team's success, and John has thrived in his role as a warrior in the trenches. Having a team first attitude and being unselfish are important qualities of a lineman, and John continues to display both of those in his play on the
field. He has continued to develop and work hard, and his improved play as a senior has no doubt been crucial for the team.
