MARAUDER CROSS COUNTRY 2011 Modified Cross Country Varsity Cross Country
Marauder Cross Country 2011 HEAD COACH: ~ANNE GEARY
The 2011 S-E Cross Country program has set the stage for next season! ~The29th Annual Sherburne-Earlville Invitational was again a success. We attained the services of Fast Finishes, which allowed the Varsity races to be timed and scored electronically. An updated and professional competition! ~ Our Boys and Girls combined to win the Mixer Team award for a second straight year!
Of our Modified runners, all proved to themselves and to all that the future of our team is a bright!~They worked well with the Varsity athletes and each other in terms of enthusiasm and intensity. This year, we found a new sense of team - a better meaning of committment. ~Ultimate Frisbee has found its mark in our overall cross training and team success. ~We appreciate the Modified individual effortsand look forward to their return in the fall. Girls Team members: ~ Kaitlynn Cummings, Gr. 8 and Kaylee Scott, Gr. 8. Boys Team members are: Duncan Campbell, Gr. 8, Harley Caulfield, Gr. 8, Kyle Cross, Gr. 8, Brandon Lambert, Gr. 8, Jacob Myers, Gr. 8 and Ken Ulrich, Gr. 7.
The Varsity Girls were able to demonstrate promise with their season individual performances. They are ready to commit to next season with a renewed sense of pride. Members succeeded in posting personal best times, which is encouraging for next year. Team members include: Gabby Huff, Gr. 11 (Co-Capt.), Erin Mahardy, Gr. 12 (Co-Capt.) , Haley Muth, Gr. 12, Sierra Ulrich, Gr. 10.
The Varsity Boys team has formed a solid competitive foundation for next year. They too are ready for action next season. Teammates include: Ian Benedict, Gr. 9; Brian Campbell, Gr. 11; Brady Foster, Gr. 11; Ryan Genter, Gr. 12 (dual sport - Varsity Soccer); Ryan Palmiter, Gr. 10; Cade Shea, Gr. 10 (dual sport ~- Varsity Soccer); SpencerTompkins, Gr. 10 (dual sport – Modified Soccer) and Jeff Verry, Gr. 12.
As always, special thanks go out to the Board ofEducation, District Administration, Athletic Department, fellow coaches, S-E Sports Boosters, Building and Grounds crew, Audiovisual Department, CrossCountry parents, faculty and staff volunteers. We appreciate the support of our faithful volunteers. We look forward to next season. “The strength of thepack is the wolf and the strength of the wolf is the pack.” - Way to go S-E Cross Country!!!

6thAnnual SHERBURNE-EARLVILLECROSS COUNTRY “CLASSIC”
GOLFTOURNAMENT FUNDRAISER Saturday, May 19th, 2012 AtMountain Top Golf Course, Sherburne Captain and Crew: 4-Person
Teams ($35members/$45 non-members) Tournament limited to the first 10 paid teams.
Includes: T-Shirt; 18 holes of golf and cart; Drinks on the course, Food at theturn, Snacks afterwards, 50/50 raffle “John Daly” Driver raffle, and of course,Prizes!!!
Check in at 11:30AM. Shot gun start at 12:00PM. Proceeds go to the S-E Cross Country Team
